Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in London, Ontario. You will monitor screens, detect threats, and report incidents while patrolling premises to ensure safety.

Requirements include a valid Ontario security license and first aid certification; strong report-writing and tech skills help you document events and respond to incidents efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect and report suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or threats.

• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor IDs.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalation in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor, detect and report any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and checkvisitoridentification
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Ontario security license
• First aid certification is required
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughoutshift
