Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in Mississauga, Ontario. The role focuses on monitoring screens, quick threat detection, and detailed reporting to keep facilities secure.

You will patrol premises, control access, and collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies while benefiting from GardaWorld Academy education and uniform provision.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada and hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification is required.
• Strong report writing skills with attention to detail.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus during long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor IDs.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in emergencies.

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they **escalate** in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Qualifications For Security Guard
