GardaWorld in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, is seeking a part-time Security Guard to help safeguard facilities and people across our sites. You will monitor security systems, report incidents, and maintain safety with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.

As a Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escape in environments such as operation centres, call centres, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
