GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard for a high-security environment in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. The role focuses on continuous surveillance, risk assessment, and precise documentation while upholding security protocols and responding to incidents with sound judgment.

Ideal candidates have experience in law enforcement or security, a willingness to obtain required clearances, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
• Clean criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Background in law enforcement, police services, corrections, or care for vulnerable persons is an asset.
• Professionalism, discipline, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous surveillance of persons in a controlled environment.
• Perform wellness checks at 15 minute intervals in accordance with security standards.
• Identify and report risk situations or medical concerns.
• Respond professionally, calmly, and in compliance during sensitive situations.
• Accurately complete official documentation and observation reports.
