Job summary

RBC in Bedford, Canada seeks a production support professional for the Capital Markets surveillance platform. You will maintain systems, automate processes, and work with CTB and vendors on agile initiatives.

The role requires ITIL disciplines, Linux/Windows scripting, and experience with monitoring tools. You will help ensure production readiness and operate the surveillance ecosystem across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• ITIL Incident, Problem, Change Management experience.
• Proficiency with RHEL/Unix/Linux and Windows incl. scripting.
• Experience containerizing/orchestrating apps with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong SQL skills with MS SQL and Sybase.
• Experience monitoring with ITRS Geneos, Nagios, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of surveillance systems to support production platform.
• Automate manual processes to evolve the platform.
• Collaborate with CTB team and vendors on agile delivery.
• Support ITIL Production Readiness and License to Operate.
• Identify enhancements, surface risks, and drive improvements.
