Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Kamloops, BC seeks a Surveillance Operator to maintain continuous surveillance of gaming areas and the property, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. The role focuses on identifying suspicious activity and protecting assets.

The position offers a casual part-time schedule with a wage of $21.50 per hour and benefits/ training opportunities as part of Gateway’s employee programs.

Responsibilities

• Use audio and video equipment to monitor gaming areas and the property.
• Identify, record, and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Identify fraud and take appropriate action per law and policy.
• Monitor compliance and protect assets and gaming integrity.
• Maintain logs and compile information for detailed reporting.
• Assist with investigations.

The Surveillance Operator is the eyes of the Casino, ensuring the security of customers, staff, and assets by maintaining continuous surveillance of gaming areas and the entire property. We are seeking a professional, reliable and committed Surveillance Operator who will ensure that laws, regulations and policies are followed by monitoring tables for any rule infractions.

Key Responsibilities

• Use audio and video equipment to maintain continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and property.
• Identify, record, document and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Identify fraud and take appropriate action required by law and company policy.
• Monitor compliance and protect company assets and gaming integrity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs, gather and submit information for detailed reporting.
• Assist with investigations.
