NK Medical Office is seeking a full-time medical office administrative assistant for a surgeon in Ottawa. The role focuses on scheduling appointments, managing calls, and coordinating surgeries to ensure smooth clinic flow.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-stress situations while presenting a professional front for patients. Experience with Accuro or Epic is preferred.

Formación

• Experience scheduling patient appointments and surgeries.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a clinic environment.
• Familiarity with medical software such as Accuro or Epic.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• If no experience, a diploma in medical office administration is favoured.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule patient appointments including consultations and follow-ups.
• Handle patient phone calls and questions, and greet patients during clinic visits.
• Book and schedule surgeries.
• Manage faxes and referrals between doctor offices and hospitals.
