• Medical Office Assistant Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent healthcare administrative experience).
• Minimum one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams).

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and create a positive first impression.
• Schedule appointments for physicians and allied health professionals.
• Answer phones, emails, and patient inquiries.
• Manage electronic medical records and patient documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with healthcare providers, insurers, legal offices, and third-party payers.
• Process patient payments and assist with billing inquiries.
• Support ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and extended health administrative processes.
• Maintain clinic supplies and assist with day-to-day clinic operations.
• Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary healthcare team.
