Job summary

Moreau in Canada is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy equipment across mining projects. Report to the maintenance supervisor and work on preventive and corrective tasks in dynamic environments.

You ensure equipment reliability, perform inspections, and document maintenance activities while adhering to health and safety standards. A DEP in Industrial Mechanics is required, and ASP Construction certification is an asset.

Qualifications

• DEP in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent training.
• Experience in mechanics is an asset.
• Autonomous, safety-conscious and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fixed equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and determine required repairs.
• Repair, replace, and adjust mechanical components as needed.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and reliability.
• Participate in planned maintenance and equipment shutdowns.
• Complete inspection and maintenance reports.
• Comply with health and safety standards in mining environments.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
