Job summary

Moreau is seeking a qualified Electrician to install, maintain, and repair underground electrical systems in Northern Quebec. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive inspections, and ensure safety compliance.

Read electrical plans, interpret diagrams, and collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime. Mining industry experience and Licence C with FMTM modules are required, with strong safety mindset and autonomy expected.

• Licence C certification is required.

• Industrial electrical work experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

About the position:

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical systems.

Your main responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair underground electrical equipment and systems;
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform the required repairs;
• Conduct preventive inspections to ensure equipment reliability;
• Install, connect, and commission motors, distribution panels, and other electrical components;
• Apply lockout/tagout procedures and health and safety standards;
• Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and drawings;
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend solutions to optimize equipment performance;
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize production downtime;
• Perform other related tasks as required.
