Job summary

Moreau in Northern Quebec is seeking an instrumentation professional to ensure the maintenance and proper operation of instrumentation systems supporting our operations. You will install, calibrate, and commission measurement and control instruments while performing preventive and corrective maintenance.

The role requires DEC in Instrumentation and Control, and experience in industrial instrumentation or mining environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• DEC in Instrumentation and Control, or equivalent training.
• Experience in industrial instrumentation (an asset).
• Experience in a mining or industrial environment (an asset).
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and diagrams.
• Strong safety mindset, autonomy, and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission measurement and control instruments.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation equipment.
• Diagnose failures and carry out the required repairs.
• Inspect and adjust sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other instruments.
• Read and interpret instrumentation plans, diagrams, and drawings.
• Participate in the optimization and improvement of control systems.
• Apply health and safety procedures and standards in the workplace.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
