Job summary

Moreau is seeking a capable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team for on-site project work across Canada, including Northern Quebec. You will operate heavy machinery, perform precision tasks, and help maintain safe, efficient daily operations at the site.

The ideal candidate holds a DEP in Construction Equipment Operation or equivalent, with prior heavy equipment experience and a strong health and safety mindset.

• DEP in Construction Equipment Operation or equivalent experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (an asset).
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Autonomous, reliable, and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maneuver various types of heavy equipment according to site requirements.
• Perform loading, hauling, and unloading of materials (soil, gravel, ore, etc.).
• Participate in grading, maintenance, and road construction/improvement activities.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections before, during, and after use.
• Perform basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow work procedures and strict health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
