Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure surface land rights required for project development.
• Negotiate surface leases, right-of-way, and access agreements with landowners.
• Address landowner concerns and facilitate mutually beneficial solutions.
• Maintain accurate land records and documentation.
• Support senior land agents and ensure compliance with regulators.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and clients.
• Obtain regulatory approvals.
• Support project planning by identifying land-related risks, constraints, and opportunities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for landowners and stakeholders.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Surface Land Agent to join our team in our Swift Current or Kindersley office. The ideal candidate will have experience in surface land acquisition, stakeholder engagement, negotiations, and project coordination within the energy, utility, or infrastructure sectors.

Working alongside an experienced team, you will manage land acquisition files, negotiate agreements, build relationships with landowners and stakeholders, and support the successful delivery of projects throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
