Job summary

Millennium Land Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Estevan, SK team for a balance of office and field work focused on Oil & Gas reclamation and remediation.

You will report to the Manager of Reclamation and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include gas migration testing, environmental site assessments (Phase I/II), wellsite abandonment, spill response, groundwater sampling, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma (degree in Agrology, Environmental Sciences, or similar field preferred).
• Hold, or be eligible for, certification from a Professional Organization (SIA, APEGS, SASTT, ASPB, etc.).
• Experience in the environmental field considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Saskatchewan oil and gas sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Valid Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract.

• Conducting work associated with wellsite and flowline abandonment
• Conducting Spill Response for Oil & Gas properties

You will report directly to the Manager of Reclamation and have the support of the entire Millennium team.
