Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority in Tofino is seeking a casual laundry worker to join our facilities team. You will perform tasks across food services, housekeeping and laundry in alignment with safety and quality standards, supporting patient and staff needs in a coastal community.

This role requires Grade 10 or higher, Food Safe Level 1, and the ability to communicate effectively and work with others. Shifts are as required, and the position offers exposure to a respectful, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Grade 10 and two years' related experience in laundry, or equivalent education/ training.
• Food Safe Level 1 is required.
• Good verbal and written communication; able to interact with staff and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

Grade 10, plus two years' recent related experience in a commercial or industrial laundry or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Food Safe Level 1.

• Ability to deal with others effectively.
