Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) is seeking casual Food Service Workers to support Food Services Operations. In this role you will portion and serve meals, wash and peel vegetables and fruit, and prepare items such as tea, coffee and toast. You will also wash dishes and utensils in a busy kitchen environment.
You must have Grade 10 or equivalent, and a Food Safe Level 1 certificate. Strong communication and physical stamina are required to work in this setting.

Positions at this level perform a variety of duties within Food Services Operations such as portioning and serving meals, washing and peeling vegetables and fruit, preparing items such as tea, coffee and toast, and washing dishes and utensils.
Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Food Safe Level 1 certificate.
