A leading defense client in Canada seeks a Supply Chain Specialist in Ottawa. This role involves drafting operational support plans, conducting comprehensive research, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance military operations. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, have at least 3 years of relevant experience, and possess SECRET clearance.
The Client : Valued Government of Canada client in the Defense space Key Responsibilities : Supply Chain Specialist Draft, coordinate, facilitate, and report on the development of an operational support development campaign plan. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand current practices, challenges, and emerging trends related to operational support capabilities in a contemporary operating environment. Draft concepts related to operational support for operations in a contemporary operating environment. Draft options for investment into structure. This will include the creation of Tables of Organization and Equipment (TO&E) and related documentation. Draft Statements of Capability Deficiency (SOCD)for operational support deficiencies identified during campaign planning. Initiate project documentation in accordance with the Project Approval Directive(PAD) for capabilities required for operational support. Prepare presentations, briefings, and other materials to effectively communicate key observations, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with stakeholders and relevant entities to cohere efforts related campaign plan implementation. Advise on the implementation of doctrine and training related to operational support capabilities. Undertake other duties, as required. What you must bring to this role : Must have Bachelor degree or higher. Must have 3 years of experience in analyzing, planning, or managing operational support and sustainment in direct support of military operations Candidate must have SECRET clearance and be eligible to be enrolled in the Controlled Goods Program Only those who are qualified will be contacted.
