Job summary

Eden Textile, a Canadian textile manufacturer, is seeking a Purchasing & Supply Chain Analyst / Coordinator based in Edmonton, AB. The role spans purchasing, demand planning, logistics, and quality control, owning forecasts, supplier relations, and inventory management to optimize service, cost, and margin.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations and contribute to process improvements and data-driven decisions using analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain / Logistics, Human Ecology, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3–7 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or analytical role.
• Proven track record negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights.
• Experience with demand planning / forecasting and inventory management.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end purchasing and procurement processes with suppliers.
• Lead pricing, terms, and delivery negotiations and manage supplier contracts.
• Drive sourcing strategy and develop alternate sources to reduce costs and risk.
• Manage inbound/outbound shipments, routing, and cost optimization.
• Oversee quality control and ensure products meet specifications.
• Own demand planning, forecasting, and inventory targets.
• Build dashboards and reports to track performance.
