Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Longueuil, Canada, is seeking a Production Planner to develop master production and distribution plans across short, mid, and long horizons. You will project inventory based on capacity and demand and manage promotional volumes within SAP IBP, collaborating with demand planning and manufacturing operations teams.

You'll model the integrated business plan under real constraints, lead governance meetings, and monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Minimum of two years of experience with an ERP system (SAP and IBP are assets).
• Strong oral and written communication in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-, medium-, and long-term master production and distribution plans.
• Project inventory based on capacity and demand and manage promotional volumes using SAP IBP.
• Collaborate with demand planning and manufacturing operations teams to model the integrated business plan based on real constraints, while maintaining governance of the standard process.
• Execute and adjust the short- and medium-term master production and distribution plan based on actual sales and production volumes.
• Own and improve daily and weekly governance execution meetings (S&OE).
• Communicate proactively with commercial teams about forward fill rate risks.
• Collaborate with demand planning, distribution planning, and manufacturing operations teams to execute the plan.
• Manage allocation of promotional volumes to meet demand while optimizing costs.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning Specialist to reflect constraints into the IBP plan.
• Own the execution of high season peaks like holidays and inventory build-up.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and adjust them over time.
