Job summary

Leclerc, a family business with a long-standing presence, is seeking a Production Planner to optimize plant production schedules across our Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures sites. You will coordinate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to achieve targets while respecting constraints on runs, sanitation, materials, and equipment.

The role requires a BA degree with 3+ years in production planning and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management, or other related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in production planning.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written. Regular communication with English-speaking clients and/or suppliers, and collaboration with facilities in the United States and Ontario.
• Strong leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment where decisions must be made quickly while ensuring alignment among multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Plan all manufacturing activities to achieve established production targets.
• Analyze and manage production scheduling priorities.
• Develop and implement programs to ensure efficient use of raw materials, labor, and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to the production schedule and make necessary adjustments as required.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance departments.
• Actively participate in projects aimed at improving organizational efficiency.
