Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Demand Planning for the Canadian Division.

You will shape and lead the demand planning function, partnering with Sales, Operations, Finance and Supply Planning to deliver an aligned, accurate forecast while optimizing service levels and minimizing inventory risk. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, governance of forecasting, and modernization of forecasting capabilities within a fast-moving dairy business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is considered an asset.
• 5+ years in demand planning, S&OP, IBP or operations planning, preferably in CPG, food manufacturing or dairy.
• Proven experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a complex manufacturing or multi-site environment.
• Strong business acumen with ability to connect planning decisions to operational performance, customer impact, cost, inventory, and service outcomes.
• Experience with advanced planning systems (SAP APO, Kinaxis) is an asset; proficiency with Excel and Power BI is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end demand planning with robust governance and aligned view of demand.
• Develop a high-performing planning team through coaching and succession planning.
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and bias reduction using advanced analytics.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning to integrate market insights into plans.
• Lead the monthly IBP Demand Review with senior leadership discussions and alignment on risks and opportunities.
• Incorporate promotions, launches and external signals into planning; develop scenarios and mitigations.
• Ensure demand plans align with financial commitments and operational costs.
