Job summary

Raise is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Master Data Analyst to manage vendor master data across ERP systems. You will ensure governance, resolve data issues, and collaborate with stakeholders and third-party teams responsible for data creation and maintenance.

The role reports to the Team Lead, Supplier Onboarding and Master Data, contributing to data integrity and continuous improvement across master data processes within a hybrid Calgary-based environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in master data, supply chain, procurement, accounts payable or related analytical role.
• Experience with master data governance frameworks and data sustainment practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with multiple ERP platforms including Oracle Cloud, SAP, Oracle EBS, and exposure to Ariba.
• Experience executing mass data uploads and managing data validation and exception handling.

Responsibilities

• Execute vendor master data updates across multiple ERP systems following governance standards.
• Analyze and resolve complex vendor master data issues, including duplicates and merges.
• Serve as a liaison for stakeholders, using escalation processes to deliver effective resolutions.
• Support M&A activities by assessing vendor master data readiness and gaps, guiding remediation.
• Monitor master data dashboards and KPIs, addressing data quality issues and exceptions.
• Conduct regular data audits across ERP platforms to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in high-volume vendor master data processing and data loads.

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Master Data Analyst to support vendor master data management across multiple ERP systems and related interfaces. In this role, you will execute key master data processes, ensure compliance with governance standards, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and third-party support teams responsible for vendor master data creation and maintenance.
• Reporting to the Team Lead, Supplier Onboarding and Master Data, you will play a critical role in maintaining data integrity, resolving complex data issues, supporting business initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across supply chain master data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute vendor master data update requests across multiple ERP systems while ensuring adherence to established master data governance standards.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex vendor master data issues, including duplicate records, vendor merges, and data inconsistencies.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders, leveraging escalation processes to deliver effective resolutions while balancing business requirements and operational controls.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by assessing vendor master data readiness, identifying gaps against data standards, recommending corrective actions, and overseeing remediation efforts.
• Monitor and maintain master data dashboards, performance metrics, and KPIs, proactively addressing data quality issues and exceptions.
• Conduct regular data audits across ERP platforms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Provide support for high-volume vendor master data processing activities as business demands require.
• Assist in maintaining and updating ERP-related documentation, procedures, and desktop process guides.
• Lead data cleansing and data quality improvement initiatives across multiple ERP environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance master data processes and drive operational efficiencies.
• Support mass data uploads using standard ERP templates, investigate failed transactions, and ensure successful completion of data loads.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on strengthening master data governance and data integrity practices.

Qualifications

• Required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a master data, supply chain, procurement, accounts payable, or related analytical role.
  • Strong experience working with master data governance frameworks and data sustainment practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Experience working with multiple ERP platforms, including Oracle Cloud, SAP, Oracle EBS, and exposure to Ariba.
  • Demonstrated experience executing mass data uploads and managing data validation and exception handling processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.

• Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of supply chain experience in a large, complex organization, including exposure to procurement and accounts payable functions.
  • Experience within the oil and gas industry is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with modern procurement, sourcing, payment, and supplier management processes.
  • Experience with source-to-pay platforms and ERP solutions such as Oracle Cloud, SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or GEP, with Oracle Cloud experience preferred.
