Overview

Our Client, a European MNC, is a global technology leader delivering cutting-edge technologies and services as well as mission-critical automation and flow control solutions for the process industries. With presence in over 40 countries, an annual sales turnover of EUR 5.4 billion in FY 2024 and a global team of 19,000 employees, our client operates 110 service centers, 160 sales offices, 76 production units, and 34 R&D centers worldwide. Our Client would like to invite suitably experienced individuals to join their Singapore Gas Chromatography Team as Delivery and Operations Manager.


Key Areas of Responsibilities
  • Order Management
    • Lead the end-to-end order-to-cash process, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and aligned with Company policies.
    • Oversees the order management team, coordinates with cross-functional departments, and drives process improvements to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue recognition.
    • Lead and manage the order management team, including training, coaching, and performance reviews.
    • Oversee the entire order lifecycle, from order entry and validation to invoicing and delivery.
    • Partner with sales, logistics, supply chain, and finance to resolve order issues and improve workflows.
    • Drive process improvements and automation in order processing systems.
    • Support audits, revenue recognitions, and compliance requirements.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee and optimize inventory operations to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize costs, and support smooth supply chain and sales operations.
    • Ensure products are available when needed while preventing overstock, shortages, and obsolescence.
    • Lead the inventory control team and collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales to align stock with business demand.
    • Develop and implement inventory management strategies and policies.
    • Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy across warehouse and systems.
    • Forecast demand and plan replenishment in coordination with procurement and sales.
    • Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits, reconcile discrepancies.
    • Track slow-moving, excess and obsolete inventory, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Optimize warehouse storage and inventory turnover to reduce carrying costs.
    • Maintain accurate data in ERP/WMS systems (Infor LN).
  • Procurement Management
    • Lead and manage the procurement process to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of goods and services.
    • Oversee supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement strategies while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimize value, reduce risks, and support business operations.
    • Manage the end-to-end procurement process (sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance).
    • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal departments (finance, operations, production, inventory) to forecast demand and align purchasing plans.
Qualification & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
  • More than 10+ years in order management, supply chain and procurement with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Infor LN is an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.
