We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing supply chain operations by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and inefficiencies, and proposing actionable strategies. You will work cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, inventory management, finance, and IT teams to enhance operational efficiency, ensure data-driven decision-making, and support the continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supply chain planning.
Identify bottlenecks, cost drivers, and process inefficiencies; provide data-backed recommendations for improvement.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using tools such as Power BI, or Excel.
Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for system enhancements and process automation.
Support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and supply chain tools.
Monitor supplier performance, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives.
Assist in business case development for process changes, new systems, or vendor selection.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to evaluate supplier markets, pricing trends, industry benchmarks, and emerging supply chain risks.
An undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
A master’s degree, MBA, or certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, PMP, CBAP) is an asset.
At minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations analysis, business analysis, or a related role.
Proven experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, and supply planning.
Experience in sustainability and responsible sourcing.
Hands-on experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Workday Reporting.
Experience conducting root cause analysis, developing dashboards, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, or cross-functional team collaboration.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
Proficiency in SQL or database querying for data extraction and analysis.
Hands-on experience with Workday (or other ERP systems) for report creation, process optimization, and system configuration.
Expertise in Workday reporting, including creating custom reports and dashboards, managing data workflows, and utilizing Workday’s analytics tools to drive operational insights.
Proven ability to manage business process changes in supply chain areas, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with stakeholders.
Familiarity with Workday's Financial Management modules to support cross-functional reporting needs.
Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics is an asset but not required.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
