We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze complex data sets, identify trends and inefficiencies, and propose actionable strategies to optimize supply chain operations. You will collaborate with procurement, logistics, inventory management, finance, and IT teams to improve operational efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and enhance supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supply chain planning.
  2. Identify bottlenecks, cost drivers, and process inefficiencies; provide data-backed recommendations for improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using tools such as Power BI or Excel.
  4. Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for system enhancements and automation.
  5. Support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and supply chain tools.
  6. Monitor supplier performance, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery metrics.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives.
  8. Assist in business case development for process changes, new systems, or vendor selection.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
  10. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to evaluate supplier markets, pricing trends, industry benchmarks, and emerging supply chain risks.
Education
  • An undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree, MBA, or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, PMP, CBAP) are assets.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations analysis, or related roles.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, and planning.
  • Experience with sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Workday Reporting.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis, developing dashboards, and presenting findings.
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
  • Proficiency in SQL or database querying.
  • Experience with Workday or similar ERP systems for report creation and system configuration.
  • Expertise in Workday reporting, including custom reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to manage business process changes in supply chain areas.
  • Familiarity with Workday’s Financial Management modules.
  • Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $77,400 - $96,800
