Job description

Position: Service Supervisor

Location: Moncton, NB, Westmorland County, NB; New Brunswick, Canada

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and enhance safety performance on shift, promoting a proactive safety culture through training, accident prevention, and rehabilitation programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  2. Manage shift maintenance activities, resolving equipment breakdowns in coordination with the maintenance team to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
  3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives on shift, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across end-to-end operations.
  4. Monitor and manage the plant's operational costs and yield, working closely with the Plant Manager to optimize performance and contribute to overall plant objectives.
  5. Address performance and attendance issues in collaboration with HR, ensuring all plant staff meet operational expectations.
  6. Support third-party programs and initiatives.
  7. Maintain flexibility to work off shifts when required.
  8. Qualifications and Assets:
  • Six Sigma certification and 5S knowledge and experience are assets.
  • Experience with CMMS is an asset.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.
  • French language skills are preferred.
