Job summary

Citco in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Supervisor for Investor Relations (Hedge Funds) to lead the team, supervise staff, and ensure accurate NAVs and reconciliations. The role combines client reporting, process improvement, and monitoring of investor transactions with a focus on compliance.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is required.
• 2-5 years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably Hedge Fund Administration and/or Client Service with exposure to accounting and performance reporting.
• Experience managing and training staff/people leadership.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues including KYC/AML.
• Strong client relationship skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work performed by Investor Relations and Senior Investor Relations Specialists.
• Participate in staff development plans with the Account Manager.
• Review trade packs, statements and NAVs.
• Monitor investor transactions and ensure documentation is complete.
• Review and approve cash receipts and payments.
• Develop and review client reporting; liaise with IT to automate reporting.
• Review investor and client correspondence.
• Maintain controls; contribute to management reports.
• Develop and monitor Service Level Agreements.
• Provide excellent service to investors and clients and support the team.
• Take a leadership role as a subject matter expert for the department.
• Stay updated on regulatory/compliance environment affecting services.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Supervise work performed by Investor Relations and Senior Investor Relations Specialists
• Participate in training of team members; assist the Account Manager in the preparation and execution of staff development plans
• Review trade packs, statements and NAVs
• Monitor and ensure that investor transactions are properly reconciled and all documentation are complete
• Review and approve of cash receipts and payments
• Develop and review custom client reporting; liaise with IT to automate custom reporting
• Review investor and client correspondence
• Ensure adherence to controls and procedures; prepare and contribute to management control reports
• Develop and monitor Service Level Agreements
• Provide excellent service to both investors and clients through both direct contact and support of your team
• Take a leadership role as a subject matter expert for the department
• Maintain knowledge of current regulatory and compliance environment as it affects our services and/or clients
• Participate in projects when required

Qualifications

About You:

• You have a post-secondary education
• 2-5 years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably Hedge Fund Administration and/or Client Service with some exposure to accounting and performance reporting
• Experience managing and training staff/people leadership
• Possess knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies
• Strong client relationship skills
• Possess excellent Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, and conflicting deadlines
• Able to work with large volumes of data
• Work independently and understand when to escape
• Able to learn and follow established policies and procedures

Salary Range: CAD $74,000 - CAD $86,000
