Alberta Health Services seeks a Patient Food Service Supervisor to coordinate daily patient food operations at Calgary area facilities. You will lead a dynamic team of supervisors, ensure service quality, and maintain efficient patient food delivery.

The Patient Food Service Supervisor reports to the Manager of Patient Food Services at the Foothills Medical Centre. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day site food service activities. The position works with a dynamic team of supervisors to provide direct supervision to front-line food service staff and maintains an efficient operation of patient food services.
A minimum of three years of leadership experience in a healthcare environment is required, including employee recruitment, scheduling, supervision, and directing staff. Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Service Management, or Dietary Technology. Leadership experience in a unionized healthcare setting is considered an asset, along with strong team-building skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Candidates must demonstrate leadership capabilities, effective organizational and time management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and SharePoint, is required. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong leadership skills are essential, including experience in decision-making, coaching, mentoring, training, and motivating employees. The ability to manage human, financial, and physical resources effectively in a dynamic operational environment is also required.
Experience with CBORD, RMID, and Connect Care is required.
Experience with change management is preferred.
