Job summary

AltaLink Management Ltd. is seeking a Summer Student to join the Capital Project Performance team in Calgary. The role focuses on assisting with monthly and quarterly financial reporting tasks and maintaining project data in SAP.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Commerce/Business Administration with an accounting/finance focus, have strong Excel skills, and demonstrate teamwork and communication abilities. The position runs for four months starting May 2027 and is based in Calgary.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Accounting or Finance preferred).
• Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.
• Effective written and oral communication; good organizational abilities.
• Experience with SAP is an asset; proficiency with Excel required; PowerApps is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports and information.
• Verify, monitor, and code project invoices for accuracy in SAP.
• Summarize financial status for S&IS leadership review.
• Maintain accuracy of 2027–2028 SIS capital delivery project lists.
• Contribute to process improvements in financial workflows.
