AltaLink is hiring a Summer Student to join the CRU Project Support team in Calgary. You will assist with data management, reporting, and automation, collaborating closely with project managers and functional teams to meet deadlines and financial targets.

The role emphasizes data quality, standardized processes, and development of digital solutions using Power Platform and Power BI. The position starts May 2027 for four months and requires university enrollment in a relevant program.

Formación

• University student in their second or third year in a relevant program.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Ability to work in a team and build relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including technical writing.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with multiple issues.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with data cleanup, validation, and standardization to improve quality.
• Document processes and identify opportunities to simplify or automate tasks.
• Develop tools, templates, trackers, and reporting processes for consistency.
• Create and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries.
• Prepare process documentation and user guides for new tools.
• Maintain and improve SharePoint, Power Platform, reporting, and data-management solutions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to track KPIs.
• Support other data analysis, reporting, automation, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
