Qualifications

  • Expérience en gestion de camp ou en rôles de leadership.

  • Permis de conduire valide.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Location Manager is responsible for overseeing their own location and team. They serve as the main point of contact between children, staff, and parents, ensuring camper and parent satisfaction. The manager is present daily at camp and ensures that overall camp operations are properly maintained. They are actively involved in programming, organizing, and scheduling prior to the camp start date. This is a seasonal position from May to August.

Responsibilities

Off-Season (May to June)

  1. Attend management training and meetings.
  2. Prepare and assist with programming and scheduling.
  3. Assist in pre-camp preparations, including supplies, planning, and liaising with families and staff.

On-Season (July and August)

  1. Handle and track all financial transactions for the camp.
  2. Manage and coach staff members.
  3. Perform staff evaluations.
  4. Work directly with the Regional Manager to ensure smooth camp operations.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team to create invoices and ensure payments are received.
  6. Prepare expense reports for their location.
  7. Report concerns and incidents to management.
  8. Provide high-level front-line customer service by communicating with parents, listening to concerns, and being the main contact for inquiries and questions.
  9. Maintain a safe environment for staff and children.
  10. Hold weekly meetings with location staff.
Qualifications
  1. Experience in camp management and/or leadership roles.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Availability to work full-time throughout the summer.
  4. Valid driver's license.
