Job description

  • Ensure smooth operations within our community, managing various tasks such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits in a dynamic environment.
  • Uphold a 5-star living experience through outstanding customer service and continuously seek ways to enhance residents' quality of life, aligning with the building's brand to boost satisfaction, reputation, renewals, revenue, and profitability.
  • Foster a positive living environment by promptly resolving conflicts and maintaining consistent follow-up with community residents.
  • Increase revenue by analyzing competition, developing innovative marketing strategies, tracking advertising and client traffic, and monitoring online reviews to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and coaching of on-site staff as needed.
  • Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a cohesive team across various departments, including leasing, customer service, concierge, maintenance, and management, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
  • Manage the community's budget, finances, property performance, and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with leasing staff to ensure leasing and marketing objectives are achieved.
  • Conduct audits of residents' files to maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, prospects, residents, and team members.
  • Perform any additional duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • Supervise all staff operations, ensuring adherence to the company'spolicies and procedures.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the on-site team to meet organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with leasing staff to achieve leasing and marketing targets.
  • Identify leasing opportunities for staff and assist in setting goals to improve performance.

Qualifications and Experiences :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and French required.
  • 3-5 years of property management experience required.
  • 2-3 years of financial experience in budgeting and maintenance.
  • Experience in a supervisory role, with skills in team leadership and development.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong multitasking skills and adaptability.
  • Calm and composed demeanor.
  • Self-motivated, inquisitive, responsive, and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Yardi property management software preferred.
  • General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills.
