Position Details

What You Will Do

  • Review documents to determine recovery or salvage remittance
  • Order all police reports as required
  • Ensure adequate reserving practices
  • Identify responsible parties and create recovery packages
  • Proactive diary management and follow-up calls with members, TPA, PC’s, etc.
  • File reporting as per company procedure, including processing payments
  • Provide immediate and effective responses through written/telephone communication to lawyers, clients, third parties
  • Ongoing processing of claims, liability and quantum investigation, needs analysis, and customer service
  • Ensure proper reserves are established

Who You Are

  • Post-secondary education and related work experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in claims, subrogation, or collections
  • Property/Auto Claims experience is an asset
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
