Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Team manages and leads a department of leasing transaction experts in a client fulfillment/servicing centre, operationalizing client care strategies, providing direction for process and efficiency improvements, problem resolution, and the implementation of new initiatives. Responsible for maintaining service standards (e.g., Client Service Commitments) and achieving department goals while managing risks and enhancing client experience.

What will you do?

Provide leadership and direction to employees in a centralized environment, acting as a single point of contact for clients, leasing sales managers, vendors, and legal parties. Responsibilities include coordinating leasing transactions, managing business planning, leading service quality initiatives, resolving escalated issues, identifying service improvements, managing operational/credit risk, building networks, leading initiatives, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Managerial excellence involves ensuring team understanding of RBC vision, coaching, performance management, career development, and supporting change management.

Key relationships include RBC clients, management, leasing managers, suppliers, legal and tax teams, and operational partners.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • At least 3 years of people management experience
  • Leasing or lending experience
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Expertise in equipment financing documentation and credit policies
  • Proven team management skills through change
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with contract understanding
  • Ability to work independently and in teams

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of lease, financing, and ancillary documentation
  • Understanding of PPSA laws
  • Knowledge of T-Value, HP Calculator
  • Bilingual abilities
