Job summary

Aecon Concessions, in collaboration with CanAtom, seeks a Subcontracts Coordinator in Pickering, ON, to manage procurement for services and materials for complex nuclear infrastructure projects. You will coordinate contracts, requisitions, and data entry in SAP while ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

Required are a 5+ year track record in construction procurement, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the Construction Industry in a procurement or project coordination role.
Bachelor's degree or educational background in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering, is required.
Experience in drafting and administering contracts.
Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Prepare Subcontracts for services including post-award contract administration tasks.
Coordinate purchases for a wide range of materials and services.
Prepare and review purchase requisitions and related documentation for materials, components or equipment, quantities, QA requirements, and authorization to proceed.
Enter purchase requisitions into the Project database SAP or similar system.
Ensure drawings, technical specs, and quotes are included with SAP requisitions.
Maintain communication between Project Team, Engineering, Construction and Procurement to ensure compliance with quality and schedule.
Develop reports with Procurement for delivery dates and financial data.
Monitor material deliveries and assist with expediting as required.
