Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead planning, coordination and execution of the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment project under CanAtom.

You will supervise schedules, manpower, procurement and customer relations, reporting to the Project Manager and collaborating with EPC and subcontractors to keep the project on time and on budget. Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering and/or construction project experience.
• Proficient written communication skills.
• Knowledge of SharePoint applications is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills for large teams.
• Nuclear outage planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure a collaborative, project-first approach across internal and client-facing interactions.
• Demonstrates a strong nuclear safety culture and supports safety programs and metrics.
• Assist Project Manager in communicating the project vision and progress to the team.
• Plan and implement engineering and construction programs with milestones and manpower needs.
• Develop and maintain project schedule and budget for engineering and construction.
• Provide status reports on milestones and schedule adjustments.
• Control expenditures within the project budget.
• Coordinate manpower with trades and subcontractors.
• Maintain meeting minutes and action tracking.
• Identify risks and work with Risk Manager on mitigation actions.
• Coordinate preparation of design documents, as-built drawings, and turnover packages.
• Review designs for compliance with standards and contract requirements.
• Interface with customers to report status and gather feedback.
• Contribute to QA efforts and contract deliverables.
