EllisDon Corporation is seeking a Subcontracts Payable Insurance Administrator in Ontario. The role involves obtaining insurance certificates, reviewing documents for compliance, resolving payment-related questions, and ensuring accurate entry of subcontractor invoices.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, highly organized, and possess strong communication skills. Experience in insurance data entry is a plus, with a salary range of CAD 50,000–60,000.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review insurance certificates, WSIB/WCB certificates, and other supporting documents from subcontractors and project managers to ensure compliance.
• Review statutory declarations and indemnity documents as required.
• Resolve discrepancies by interfacing with other areas, departments, and subcontractors.
• Field and resolve subcontractor questions and issues regarding payments.
• Ensure subcontractor invoices are entered into the system accurately and timely for payables.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and reception backup.
