Student PMO Support Administrator (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg or Mississauga)

What You’ll Be Working On
Our internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We’ll help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging, fun, and supportive work environment.

We are seeking a student to join us for a 16 month co-op position starting in September 2025. This position will be based out of Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg or Mississauga.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply foundational database knowledge (acquired through relevant coursework or experience) to support data-related tasks.

  • Create and monitor automated workflows, proactively identifying and resolving any issues.

  • Support and maintain applications developed in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), including troubleshooting, implementing fixes, and assisting with enhancements.

  • Perform data entry and maintain data integrity across various platforms, including invoices, contracts, and tracking systems.

  • Assist in development and maintenance of PMO methodologies, processes, templates, and overall document management.

  • Utilize Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) to create and maintain templates, dashboards, and reporting tools.

  • Manage SharePoint Online sites, including document libraries, lists, and overall site maintenance.

  • Track and monitor financials for all projects across multiple portfolios, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare and generate a variety of reports, such as labor capitalization, audit, and project status reports.

  • Assist with resource management and allocation; review and manage timesheets, escalating issues as needed.

  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Program Delivery department.

  • You are currently enrolled in Computer Systems Technology diploma or equivalent program

  • You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently

  • Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries

  • If you are selected for a role with client specific requirements, you may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment Medical and/or Alcohol & Drug testing.
