Job summary

UEI College is seeking a Student Finance Advisor at our Ontario campus to support the Director of Student Finance in administering financial aid programs. You will interview prospective students, review files for completeness, and help award financial aid to eligible students.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and customer service, with opportunities for growth in a fast-growing post-secondary education organization.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a financial aid department of an accredited college or university with direct responsibility for advising on or awarding Title IV activities or programs preferred.
• Associates degree or comparable work experience required. Bachelor's degree with coursework in math, business, finance, auditing or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective students to determine financial aid eligibility.
• Review student files for completeness and accuracy for submission.
• Review and authorize students' Financial Aid awards.
