EF Vancouver is seeking a part-time Student Services Coordinator to support student engagement and success. You will coordinate campus events, assist with orientation and mentoring programs, and be a visible resource for students across the campus.

You will lead presentations, promote events via social media and print material, and foster collaboration among staff, faculty, and student groups. This role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a student-centered approach.

Qualifications

  • Experience with student services or student support preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.
  • High-energy and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personable, persuasive, and able to build relationships.
  • Legally able to work in Canada for the duration of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and assists with major on and off-campus focused events.
  • Support key departmental programs such as New Student Orientation, Graduation, student mentorship.
  • Is comfortable leading presentations in front of large groups of students.
  • Lead the promotion of student life events using social media channels, print material, and other forms of communication to the campus community.
  • Encourage and support students, student organizations, departments, and academic programs, on events that benefit the student community and align with the school’s mission.
  • Serves as an advisor for students.
  • Welcome students in the mornings, assist with student inquiries.
  • Cultivate and maintain good working relationships with staff, faculty, and students.
  • Administrative coverage for campus student services based needs.
  • Holds the emergency phone (rotated between staff members, weekly) to respond to after-hours incidents as needed.

The Opportunity

The Student Services Coordinator (part-time) will support initiatives and activities related to student engagement and success at EF International Language Campus, Vancouver. In addition, the Student Services Coordinator will work directly with student groups to develop, implement and coordinate programs, with a goal of encouraging a higher level of engagement and ultimately retention to graduation. This position involves responsibilities for campus events and occasional work on weeknights and weekends.

Position Details

This is a part-time, fixed term position (1 year term). The Student Services Coordinator is required to work 15-20 hours per week, 4 days per week. In addition, the Student Services Coordinator will take (on a weekly, rotating basis) the campus emergency phone.

  • Hours of work: part-time, 15-20 hours per week
  • Days of work: 4 days per week
  • Term: 1 year contract (with possibility of extension)
  • Compensation: $20/hour
  • Start Date: September 29th, 2026

  • Have high attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; fluency in an additional language is preferred but not required
  • Proven track record and commitment to outstanding customer serviceFlexible approach to work and able to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high-energy and enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure, takes initiative, troubleshoots and prioritizes tasks when operating on tight deadlines.
