Job summary

Delta School District is seeking a Student Information Systems Administrator to manage student data, registrations, and reports for the Delview Secondary site. The role reports to the Principal and collaborates with Vice Principal, counselors, and teachers to maintain accurate statistics and confidential records.

Responsibilities include processing admissions, updating course information, and ensuring timely submissions to the Ministry of Education.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• Post-secondary courses in database, data entry, information processing, spreadsheet, and word processing.
• Ability to work with student information systems and ministry reporting requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Registers new students and inputs data into student information systems.
• Maintains student records and prepares ministry reports.
• Processes admissions and registrations for multiple programs.
• Responds to transcript requests from students, parents, and external parties.
• Provides guidance on MyEd BC and CIMS platforms to staff.
