Job summary

Englobe in Canada seeks a Senior Structural Project Manager to lead structural engineering efforts across Atlantic Canada. You will guide design concepts, assess structures, review drawings, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.

Required: 5+ years in structural engineering, strong codes knowledge, and eligibility for P.Eng. with a Canadian regulator. Hybrid work model and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a Structural focus; Master’s is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience in consulting or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and design standards.
• Experience in structural design, assessment, construction inspection, contract administration and project delivery.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and contract documents; proficiency with design software.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate health and safety leadership and promote ENGLOBE policies.
• Conduct structural assessments, field investigations and prepare technical reports.
• Inspect and evaluate structures in concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
• Prepare engineering deliverables including calculations, drawings, specs and cost estimates.
• Support planning and delivery of structural projects across Atlantic Canada.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate deliverables.
• Develop design concepts and practical engineering solutions.
• Review shop drawings, respond to site inquiries, and provide construction support.
• Track progress and communicate updates to project managers and seniors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through innovation and knowledge sharing.
