Job summary

Englobe is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal, land development, transportation, and infrastructure projects across Atlantic Canada.

You will manage proposals, budgets, schedules, and client communications while providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technologists. A hybrid work arrangement and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in New Brunswick and/or Nova Scotia.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably within a consulting environment.
• Strong experience delivering municipal infrastructure, transportation, land development, and civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related civil engineering software.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally throughout Atlantic Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects for municipal, land development, transportation, and infrastructure clients.
• Manage projects from proposal through completion, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and client communication.
• Prepare, review, and oversee technical reports, engineering designs, specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality control to engineers, EITs, technologists, and other project team members.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and work collaboratively with internal specialists, clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Support business development initiatives through proposal preparation, client relationship management, networking, and identifying new opportunities.
• Participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings and provide technical guidance throughout project execution.
• Conduct site visits, condition assessments, field reviews, and construction administration services as required.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and quality management procedures.
• Promote and uphold Englobe's health and safety culture in all aspects of project planning and execution.
