Job summary

Interac is seeking a Strategy Intern in Toronto to support the development of strategic initiatives and market insights. You will work with cross-functional teams to research trends, size opportunities, and prepare materials for leadership review.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, clear communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, with a hybrid work model and an hourly rate of CAD 25.0 for Jan–Apr 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program in a relevant discipline (business, economics, finance, or CS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
• Proficiency with GenAI and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau) and market research.
• Ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights and connect initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development of strategic recommendations supporting long-term objectives.
• Support strategic planning by researching, preparing presentations, and contributing to leadership materials.
• Help with opportunity sizing, business case development, and market analysis for new initiatives.
• Translate complex ideas into clear summaries and visuals for stakeholders.
• Research emerging trends to inform priorities and planning discussions.
• Collect and analyze data to identify insights and track performance.
