Job summary

Manulife Canada is seeking a Strategy Intern to support high-priority transformation and strategic initiatives across the organization. You will conduct research, analysis, and synthesize findings to inform strategic projects, collaborating with peers and leaders across the enterprise.

This role offers exposure to strategic decision-making in a hybrid work setting, with senior leaders and a focus on growth, execution, and performance across Canada.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or MBA program in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret information and develop practical insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support team members in advancing Manulife Canada’s transformation agenda and strategic priorities through research, analysis, and project support.
• Assist in developing insights and materials that help business and function leaders evaluate strategic growth opportunities.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, market positioning, customer needs, and competitive activity to support recommendations.
• Synthesize findings into clear, well-structured presentations, summaries, and discussion materials for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Strategy peers and cross-functional partners across Manulife, supporting effective coordination, governance, and execution where applicable.
