Job summary

Sun Life Canada’s Group Retirement Services role seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategy and Enablement who will report to the AVP and support leaders with strategy development, planning and enablement. You will independently conduct research, prepare recommendations, and track strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will engage senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional workstreams, and communicate results through formal presentations.

Qualifications

• Strong conceptual problem-solving skills and ability to structure business problems.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, and ability to interpret results.
• Experience in conducting in-depth secondary research.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management skills with ability to deliver on tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Strategic project execution – supporting the delivery of strategic projects with workstream management, problem definition and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strategic project tracking – tracking monthly progress on key strategic projects and updating senior leaders.
• Problem solving and analytics – conducting financial and business analysis and generating insights.
• Marketing & business intelligence – following market trends and communicating findings with GRS leaders.
• Communication – preparing and delivering formal presentations and updates for management.
• Support strategy design and development – co-leading delivery of strategy projects across GRS with partners.
