Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Toronto is seeking a Transmission Planning Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams in delivering consulting engagements on time and within budget. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk reviews, and contract administration while mentoring staff and supporting business development efforts with clients and partners.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years of related experience, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in project management techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Experience leading technical aspects of consulting engagements in power systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule, and budget; manage deliverables and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate on business development activities; manage client relationships and assist in proposal development and budgeting.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, cost development, and establishment of project objectives.
• Mentor and train staff on technical and business aspects of projects and industry.
