Job summary

Compugen is seeking a skilled Transition Project Manager to join our Service Onboarding team within the PMO. You will lead end-to-end IT service transition projects onboarding customers into Managed Services, managing discovery, knowledge transfer, and go-live readiness to ensure a smooth handover and steady-state delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in IT service transition, strong customer relationship skills, and hands-on experience with MS Project and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years leading IT service transition and onboarding projects.
• Experience taking new services from contract to steady-state.
• Experience implementing operational support models, runbooks and SOPs.
• Experience coordinating handover from incumbent providers including continuity planning.
• Strong customer relationship skills and ability to identify hidden requirements.
• Proficient with MS Project and project governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service transition projects for Managed Services.
• Act as single point of contact for customer escalations and communications.
• Facilitate discovery workshops with customer, ops teams, and vendors.
• Plan and run knowledge transfer sessions, including shadowing and reverse-shadowing.
• Define acceptance criteria and readiness deliverables for transition to support.
• Manage handover from incumbents ensuring service continuity.
• Provide project governance: RAID, status reporting, plans, budgets.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure robust operational support at go-live.
