Hypertec, a global technology leader, seeks a Buyer to join the HCM-Supply Chain Operations team in Montreal. The role focuses on product research, pricing support, requisition accuracy, and supplier negotiations to ensure timely procurement.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in similar roles, experience negotiating with suppliers, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Formación

• High School diploma required; DEC or AEC an asset.
• 1–3 years in a similar role; technology experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience negotiating with suppliers.
• Experience with an ERP system or purchasing management platform.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Collaborative approach and team spirit.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Product Managers and Sales with product research and pricing support.
• Check requisitions for completeness and clarity and obtain missing information.
• Prepare purchase orders and verify accuracy before issuing.
• Review daily shortage reports to ensure timely purchasing.
• Consolidate and maintain purchasing price lists and provide inventory updates.
• Create/modify purchase orders as needed.
• Obtain and analyze bids per established policies and procedures.
• Follow up or expedite orders to meet schedules.
• Keep the Purchasing Manager informed of activities and issues.
• Work with multiple vendors to determine best value and negotiate with suppliers.
