Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Support Delivery Manager to lead strategic accounts from Canada (Remote). The role focuses on maximizing customer success across cloud compute, security, and delivery products, shaping SIPs and driving operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with services, engineering, and product teams, manage escalations, and influence roadmaps while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This role requires technical communication and executive-level collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree are required.
• Experience in account management or customer success in a technical environment is preferred.
• Experience analyzing data to inform continuous process improvements.
• Basic understanding of networking, cloud compute, WAF, cloud security and internet protocols.
• Proven success building trusted relationships with stakeholders from executives to technical teams.
• Familiar with security technology, security event management, or security compliance.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills for conveying complex technical content.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic, premium accounts by developing partnerships with customer stakeholders and leveraging Akamai products.
• Use data-driven SIPs to drive process improvement and operational efficiency for customers.
• Identify and escalate risks; coordinate with Support, Professional Services, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Monitor KPIs and trends to mitigate future risks and influence best practices adoption.
• Influence product roadmaps to communicate business benefits across a broad product portfolio.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and customer advocate to deliver, support, and technically manage Akamai solutions.
